Another tag

I was tagged by Jaime to answer these questions. It was fun to reminisce.

1. 10 years ago...I was a freshman at BYU. I lived in Heritage Halls and worked at BYU Independent study. My family lived in Germany. My sweet roommate Britt and her family took me in for Easter and even made me an Easter basket. Britt, thanks again. You're family is wonderful and I hope they're all doing well.

2. 5 things on my to do list today...Call the mortgage broker; wash the couch pillows; look at houses online; do the dishes; clean.

3. Snacks I enjoy...anything sweet; cereal; fruit.

4. What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire...I would first pay tithing; then I would pay off student loans; buy a sweet house in Jackson Hole; hire a personal shopper to go on a shopping spree for me (let's face it I don't really have the best fashion sense); buy a new car; take my whole family to Australia because it really is the best place in the world; I might even buy another house there; send my parents on a mission; Jared would still want to do his residency in oral surgery and we would spend a lot of time going on cleft surgery missions around the world, or he would pursue his dream of becoming a rock star and we would travel the world doing shows.

5. 5 places I have lived...Mesa, AZ; Charlottesville, VA; Frankfurt, Germany; Fort Lewis, WA; Santiago, Chile.

6. 5 jobs I have had...paper girl; I worked at the salad place in the BYU food court (I can't even remember the name of it); clerk at Wilson Diamonds; receptionist/research assistant at Central Utah Clinic in the imaging dept; I was an accounts manager at an orthodontic office in Santa Monica; and now I'm a mom (the best job ever).

7. 3 of my bad habits...I speak before thinking (sorry if I have ever offended anyone, I am working on this); I hate unloading the dishwasher so I usually let the dishes pile until I have no where else to put them; I always have to point out to Jared when he's wrong because I'm almost always the one that is wrong. I have to gloat about being right a for minute because it'll be a while before I am right again.

8. 5 random things people don't know about me...I took drama my last two years of high school. I was never any good and did it just for fun but I was in the chorus of 2 high school musicals, "Fiddler on the Roof" and "HMS Pinafore". I think I may have had an actual speaking line in one of them though I don't remember which.

I was a cheerleader in 9th grade.

In 4th grade, there was a track at my school and I ran every day at morning recess and lunch recess so at the end of the year I would get to go on the school fun run and get 2 slices of pizza. We didn't have pizza in my house very often if you can't tell.

I have lived in the home I live in now, here in CA, longer than anywhere else I have ever lived in my 28 years of life.

I took ballet for several months when I was 7 or 8.

9. 5 people I tag...

Meghan Loveless

Contents of my bag

A friend tagged me a long time ago to spill the contents of my purse. I have never been a fan of purses but especially since motherhood I have to carry around something. I have combined the diaper bag and purse into one so at any given time with or without Sam, these can be found in it:
my wallet with all the credit cards; ID and some times a few precious dollars; keys; I always carry wipes; diapers; a disposable changing pad comes in very handy; crackers of different varieties--so if you ever need a snack I've got one; extra binkies; toys; my cell phone; Sam's cell phone; markers; pens; disposable spoon; glasses and glasses cleaner; and a water bottle.
Thanks Tessa for making me do this. I really needed to clean out and wash my bag.
So tell me, what's in your bag?

Some pics of Sam being cute

Sam really likes to try on our shoes. He has a hard time getting both on but he loves to try.
Sam can say a few words now and one of his favorites is guitar. He points to the guitars on the wall and says guitar until we pull one down so he can play. He is already a rock star.

Sam has recently discovered popsicles and loves them.

I had to just throw this last one here because he looks like such an angel when he's sleeping.

A break from blogging

Okay I know it's been a while, I've been tagged 3 times. Maybe someone is trying to tell me I need a new post.
Recently we went to Arizona to visit my only living grandparents. My grandpa had a mini stroke a few days before and I realized Sam had not met his great grandparents and with us moving to the other side of the country it will be years before we will be able to visit them again. So we took a little road trip and visited my family.
Sam had fun riding on great grandpa's new walker
and playing with his cane.
We're glad and grateful that grandpa is doing better and recovering well.
