Sam got a bike for his birthday. Here he is trying it out for the first time.
Jared was wearing sunglasses so Sam wanted to wear some too so I let him wear mine. I kept telling him he looked awesome. He thought he was so big with them on.
I don't think this picture does this place justice. It was so beautiful and the leaves have started changing. The drive there was gorgeous.
Sam loves monster trucks and monster truck rallies so we incorporated one to the party. Sam and all the kids took a turn destroying the cars...
and then the "big kids" had their turn.
Afterwards the kids picked up all the candy left behind.
We had mummy dogs and brain salsa with chips.

Sam's new favorite song is Happy birthday. He's been singing it for a couple months now and pretends everything is a birthday cake. He was pretty excited for another chance at blowing out candles.

and mummy wrapping. Sam made a pretty good mummy but
everyone did a great job at wrapping Jared as a mummy.

And after the tp was great for making tp angels and throwing on Jared.
On a side note, I took Caleb in to the drs. at 3 weeks and he's up to 81/2 pounds and 21 inches long. He's eating and sleeping great and is as sweet as can be.

So late CONGRATS on your sweet little Caleb. He is sooooo precious!!! Sam's B-Day party looks like it was a blast, very creative. Your little family is so cute and you look awesome for just having a baby.

With Sam getting older, I can see in these shots the resemblance between Jared and Sam....pause...wait for Jared to say "I KNEW it!"...I'm only kidding. He looks more like you than ever, Jen:)
Hey there! The party pictures are awesome. I'll definitely be coming back to your blog archives to copy some ideas one day. Instead of going with Danny to visit my bro and his family, I was with the kids with the flu. Oh, the fun I missed out on! It hurts to take a peek at what we could have been doing.

November probably won't seem quite as exciting after your awesome October, but I hope it is still great for you guys!

81/2 pounds!!! Thats 40.5 pounds! He's huge... I'm just kidding. I know what you meant. That was really cleaver with the monster trucks. Are y'all coming out here this year?
