I was looking through some old pictures of Sam and comparing them to Caleb. What do you think?

I love these guys!!!!

These are just a few random pictures that I've taken over the past couple months of my two little boys. I think they are getting cuter by the day but I'm a just a little biased. :)

This tux, I pulled out of some clothes that we've gotten from cousins. It was worn by one of the nephews at our wedding. A few days before he smacked his head running around a corner. He ran straight into it. It looked so painful.

This little guy is 5 months now. I can't believe. It has gone by way too fast. At his 4 1/2 month check up he weighed 15 lbs. 3 oz. and was 26 in. putting him in the 75th percentile for height and about 50th for weight. He is not a fan of tummy time still but will tolerate just about anything. He is such a sweet loving baby and almost always happy.

Thanks to my awesome sis-in-law we were able to get some family pictures this year.

Thanks again Jen. She is an amazing photographer. If you're interested check out her photo blog. We had a wonderful Christmas as we were able to spend Christmas with most of our family (We missed you Kim, Jim, Andrew, and Brandon. Hopefully next year!). One of these days I'll post pics from our trip.

October update

It has been a busy month with a new baby and birthdays galore. Jared and Sam both had birthdays this month. Jared turned 30! Sam turned 3! We had small family parties for both of them and a combined birthday/halloween party.

Sam got a bike for his birthday. Here he is trying it out for the first time.

We went apple picking in Charlottesville. It was a perfect day for being outside.

Jared was wearing sunglasses so Sam wanted to wear some too so I let him wear mine. I kept telling him he looked awesome. He thought he was so big with them on.

I don't think this picture does this place justice. It was so beautiful and the leaves have started changing. The drive there was gorgeous.

The party had a monster theme so everything was about monsters and monster trucks.

Sam loves monster trucks and monster truck rallies so we incorporated one to the party. Sam and all the kids took a turn destroying the cars...

and then the "big kids" had their turn.

Afterwards the kids picked up all the candy left behind.

We had mummy dogs and brain salsa with chips.

We also had eyeball cake and

monster truck rally brownies.

Sam's new favorite song is Happy birthday. He's been singing it for a couple months now and pretends everything is a birthday cake. He was pretty excited for another chance at blowing out candles.

We had face painting...

and mummy wrapping. Sam made a pretty good mummy but

everyone did a great job at wrapping Jared as a mummy.

And after the tp was great for making tp angels and throwing on Jared.

On a side note, I took Caleb in to the drs. at 3 weeks and he's up to 81/2 pounds and 21 inches long. He's eating and sleeping great and is as sweet as can be.
